Graduation is Sunday
The Class of 2008 will graduate on Sunday, May 18.
Commencement Exercises will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the DCHS
gym.
The 2008 Valedictorian is Gage Reichert. The
Salutatorian is Jessica Bremer. Preceding their speeches will be
the senior slide show by Heather Glodt and Lacey Ream.
The Senior Class chose Heather Ploussard and Andrew Richards as

Junior High Awards/ Music Concert
The Junior High Students will present "Dance, Dance, Dance,"
featuring the Junior High Choir and Band.
The concert is Monday, May 19, following the Junior High Awards
at 6:30 p.m. in the DCHS auditorium.
Reminder for Students: You are to wear colorful,
school-appropriate clothes. Jeans and shorts are ok.

Zach May sets NWKL record
Oberlin has 8 League Champions
Seventh grader Zach May won the triple jump at the Northwest
Kansas League Track Meet and set a new league record. He
jumped 34 feet, 2.5 inches. He is also the league champion in
the 100 meter hurdles, finishing the race in 17.25 seconds.
Zach finished in second place in the long jump. He jumped 14
feet, 4 inches.
