If you receive "official-looking" letters offering such services, talk to an EducationQuest representative or a guidance counselor before you reply.

*January 11, 2008 -- Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards Scholarship.  One year - $1,000.  Must be a child or grandchild of an Elks member.  Application in the Guidance Office or for more information, visit www.elks.org/enf/scholars

    Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship Application due

*January 14, 2008 -- Nebraska Elks Association Vocational Scholarship due

*January 15, 2008 -- Nebraska Elks Association Past Exalted Ruler's Scholarship due

    Nebraska Elks Association Henry & Ida Kreiger Scholarship due

    Nebraska Elks Association W.K. Swanson Scholarship due

*January 31, 2008 -- Rural Telephone/Nex-Tech Scholarship due.  Application available at www.nex-tech.com

FEBRUARY

*February 5, 2008 -  Kansas Board of Regents Vocational Education Scholarship Program Application deadline to take the March 3rd Test - information and application in the Guidance Office. 

*February 15, 2008 - Emporia State Hornet Scholarship - $500 to $1800.  Students need a 3.0 GPA and 22 ACT to apply.

MARCH 

*March 1, 2008 -  K.U. - Priority date for FAFSA

APRIL

*April 1, 2008 -- Priority deadline to complete the FAFSA - www.fafsa.ed.gov/

*April 15, 2008 -- The Kansas Masonic Foundation Student Loan & Scholarship Program information is in the Guidance Office - the deadline is April 15.

MAY

*May 1, 2008 -- Priority deadline to process the 2007-2008 State of Kansas Student Aid Application - information and applications in the Guidance Office  or apply on-line at  www.kansasregents.org
