The 4 Steps to College
College doesn’t just happen – there are specific things students must do to make college possible. The KnowHow2GO Campaign took the extensive to-do list for college planning and created four simple steps that students can follow – with the help of an adult.
- Be a pain – in a good way. Think of adults in your life who can help you with college planning and keep asking until you find someone who will.
- Push yourself. Take rigorous coursework in high school and get involved in extracurricular activities.
- Find the right fit. Research colleges that match your career interests and skills.
- Put your hands on some cash. Apply for scholarships and financial aid.
