Ploussard and Juenemann are crowned royalty

Heather Ploussard and Lucas Juenemann were crowned the 2008 Homecoming Queen and King at the Homecoming Assembly on Friday, Sept. 26.
The queen candidates chosen by the football team were Tamara Ketterl, Annamarie Larue, Cherish Manning, Heather Ploussard and Alyssa Rippe.
The king candidates chosen by the volleyball team were Derek Chambers, Logan Fortin, Lucas Juenemann, Nathan Simonsson and Everett Urban.
Leigh (Lohoefener) Johnson was the 10-year queen, and Jason Ketterl was the Athlete of the Past.
Madelaine Johnson, daughter of JD and Rachel Johnson, was the flower girl, and Adrick Ray, son of Julie and Don Ray, was the crown bearer.
The classes were busy all week participating in Spirit Week. The seniors won Pajama Day, followed by the freshmen. The Junior Class won 80s Day followed by the seniors. The juniors and seniors tied for "Dress Your Best" Day.
The theme for the window decorating contest was racing. The juniors won this competition with their theme of "E-race" the Buffs. The seniors came in second with "Eat our Dust."
The seniors won the float competition with their chess float. The theme was board games. The junior came in second with "Buffalo Trap."
The sophomores came in third with "Sorry," and the freshmen finished fourth.
