TACT presents Camfel Productions

TACT sponsors one of the most popular lyceums nearly every year - Camfel Productions.
Camfel is a non-profit organization specializing in three-screen multi-media assembly presentations. Their assemblies are packed with popular music and are seen by millions of students in the United States each year.
The Camfel Production this year was about trusting. According to Camfel's website, the purpose of "Trust Me!?" was to "motivate students to become honest with themselves, responsible for their own actions, and to be straightforward and honest with those around them in a positive, respectful manner, to become a person everyone can trust."
The music played during the presentation included Rihanna, Cold Play, Keyshia Cole, and others.
"They did a good job at making the presentation interesting so everyone would pay attention and learn something," said Cherish Manning.
"Trust Me!?" challenged students to examine questions like "Is it okay to cheat on an exam?" "When my parents say, "Be home at 10:00," is 10:30 acceptable?" "Is it right for me to bully or tease others?" "Should I smoke, consume alcohol, or take drugs in order to appear cool to my friends?"
The video presentation also encouraged students to realize that actions speak louder than words.
Rachelle Scott said, "It was a great presentation with a good point."
"It showed us that we should be careful on who we trust. Also that we should think before we act," said Amanda Edmiston.
