Extended Learning Families

Extended Learning Families (ELF) are designed to build relationships between younger and older students, and the students and a teacher. These relationships build bonds between people that hopefully carry on throughout elementary school through junior high and high school. Older students get the opportunity to mentor younger students, and it gives the younger students someone older they know in the school if they need help.
One teacher acts as the head of each ELF group with thirteen or fourteen grade K-6 students assigned to a family. Click on the gallery to see pictures of each of the ELF groups. These pictures will be updated periodically.
