Fourth Graders Learn About Lines

In math we learned about intersecting and parallel lines, rays, line segments, and angles. We used licorice to form examples of each one. The class’s favorite part was eating the licorice at the end. This was a really fun math lesson. It was the best in the world!
After the licorice activity we used pipe cleaners to show examples of type of line on poster paper. We learned how to label the lines. Come by our room and check out our cool posters!
