We are all a little blue

If you had walked down the halls of DCHS yesterday, you would have seen lots of blue -- worn to show our support of junior Amanda Marshall. Blue is Amanda's favorite color.
Amanda had a heart procedure done Tuesday in Omaha to correct a nerve to her heart that is misfiring. She had four catheters inserted to her heart, which mapped out the heart's electrical activity to find the offending nerve cells. These cells were then cauterized. Amanda was awake throughout the four-hour procedure.
According to her friends, Amanda did beautifully in surgery and should be home today.
The junior class and the whole school are sending Amanda lots of good thoughts and get well wishes.
If all goes well, she will be home Wednesday.
