03/10/2006 A special thanks to Mrs. Breth for helping me post this link to the school website and for revising my work. Also a special thanks to Mrs. Dejmal for helping me revise my work and giving me the opportunity to show Col. Townsend how special he is to our school. Thanks so much for everyone's help in making this website perfect! Sharee Dempewolf shareedempewolf@hotmail.com DCHS Student-Class of 2006
04/25/2010 This is a note to Brenda Breth and her Townsend Children (Committee). We find it rather humiliating to have such a wreck occur in the selection process for the Townsend Scholarship. Although we don't know all students personally, it appears to us that several deserving students were passed over. What we found disturbing is that the selection criteria that is listed on the school webpage was not followed to make this year's selections. Get your act together and correct the process for next year or update the criteria to include favoritism as the #1 criteria as it seems that's all that was used this year. -DCHS Class of 1957
