Hello parents! Having your children in class everyday allows me to get to know them, however – I would also like to get to know you as well. Since most of the contact that I have with parents is during parent/teacher conferences I would like to take this opportunity for you to get to know me prior to conferences.
I am a recent graduate of Fort Hays State University and a new teacher to the Oberlin school system. Last year I student taught under Leigh Davis. Having a comfortable relationship with the High School English teacher is great, since we can communicate our expectations for students as I prepare to send them to High School.
I live in Selden, KS and have been married to my husband Chris for three years now. I am an avid horse owner and love most animals. In my spare time I love to ride my horses or just sit back and read a book. I hope that this year is a great one full of fun times and success!
