My name is Sandy Ketterl, and this is my second year teaching at Oberlin Elementary School. I teach Reading, Social Studies, and Health to all sixth graders and computer to my homeroom students. Before I came to OES, I taught one year at Colby Elementary teaching Special Education for 4th and 5th grades through the Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center.
I am originally from Beaver City, Nebraska, which is 25 miles north of Norton, Kansas. I graduated from Southern Valley High School, McCook Community College and Fort Hays State University.
I now live northwest of Oberlin with my husband, Todd, and 6 month old daughter, Makadyn. We live on the family farm, and my husband helps his parents with their dairy, cattle, and farming.
