Kindergarten classes visit pumpkin patch

On Friday, October 12, the two Kindergarten classes took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Common Scents in McCook. It was a cool and cloudy day.
We stopped at Barnett Park and enjoyed lunch and played on the playground equipment before heading to the Pumpkin Patch.
At the Pumpkin Patch, we heard a story about growing pumpkins, rode in a wagon pulled by a John Deere tractor to a huge field of pumpkins. After returning to the barn, we listened to some basic directions about the Great Maze. It was fun, and according to some students a little scary!
When we reached the end of the Maze, we had lots of fun jumping in the straw before returning to school!
It was a great day!
