Yearbooks can be picked up

DCHS Journalism

August 18, 2010

After working an entire school year on a project, the time and work finally paid off.  The 2010 yearbooks arrived this week, and they are spectacular.

"Caution:  Wet Paint" is the theme, which is carried throughout the book with paint splatters on each page.

"I know I say every year that this is the best yearbook ever, but this yearbook really is the best book ever," said Brenda Breth, yearbook adviser.  "The staff did an outstanding job coming up with a theme, carrying it throughout the book, and getting as many people in the book as possible."

The 2010 yearbook editors were Adrienne Pauls and Stephanie Bruggeman.  They were the first to get their books and see the results of a year's worth of work.

"Adrienne and Stephanie did an outstanding job as editors," said Mrs. Breth.   "This yearbook is so different than anything we've ever done before -- no school colors or anything like that.  It's just really different."

Other staff members responsible for "Caution: Wet Paint" were Ashli Samson, Jessica Fredrickson, Kyle Huntley, Lakin Brown, Toby Peters, Gatlin Reichert, Jordan Dreher, and Jori Diederich.
