As a team, the boys placed third with 65 points.  The Norton team won the meet, followed by Plainville.

The girls' team finished in 3rd place, behind Norton and Hill City.

"We had a respectable showing and effort today," said Coach Dick Ahlberg.  "This was the first meet of the year, and there is always a learning process during these early meets.  We had five freshmen running their first race, and they did fine."

The five freshmen are Kolton Pauls, Caleb Koerperich, Kayla Jones, Emma Borton, and Lara Zodrow.
