Updates on What's Coming Up!!!

December 04, 2017

Greetings USD 294 Family,

Here are the important updates to get you started off right for the month of December:

  • Don't forget that Tuesday evening(Yes, tomorrow night!) our incredible elementary students from the 4th-6th grades will be singing their hearts out with holiday tunes at the DCHS Auditorium beginning at 7 PM.  Our 5th and 6th Grade Band, under the direction of our latest and greatest band teacher, Mr. Devin Carey, will also be featured at this exciting event.  Come out and see just exactly how AWESOME our students are, especially in the area of fine arts-music. Mrs. Tally has been working tirelessly with them in preparation, so this is a show you do not want to miss!!!
  • Just plugging an additional reminder about the soup supper to help out a USD 294 Family who lost a great deal during a house fire.  This will be held in the DCHS cafeteria from 5:45-6:45 PM on Tuesday before the concert so you can help out folks who need uit AND get your grub on before you sit down for the most excellent of performances.
  • On Wednesday, December 13th at 8 AM we will be holding our annual "Donuts with Dad" event in the gym until 8:30 AM.  From what I have been told, this is a huge tradition at OES and sees an enormous turnout each year.  I, for one, cannot wait to see and help in celebrating all of the important things dads do to bring up such outstanding students!
  • On Monday, December 18th at 7 PM in the DCHS auditorium, our K-3rd students will be performing their version of the season's choir performance to strut their musical stuff as well.  Come out and get ready for the holiday break with some of your favorite songs of the season!

More events and information to come soon!
