With Valentine's Day around the corner, last Friday during advisory groups, all of the junior and senior high school students made Valentine's Day cards for the grade school students.
Gina Witt and Tim Breth organized the event. Each advisory team was assigned a group of elementary students to make valentines for. The day before Valentine's Day, two students from each advisory group went down to the grade school to hand deliver the cards.
"I think the high school kids enjoyed doing something for the elementary students," said Mr. Breth. "Seeing the faces of the young kids when delivering the cards was awesome."
Mrs. Witt said she and Mr. Breth came up with the idea because they wanted to somehow bring the two schools together.
