Entertainment for the evening was provided by the DCHS Singers, conducted by Kathryn Tremblay and accompanied by Jenny Tally. The National Honor Society guest speaker was Krickit Ketterl, who spoke about what the future holds for us. Mrs. Ketterl recently earned a master’s degree from Fort Hays State University and talked about overcoming difficult times in our lives and rising above all of the doubts.

To be eligible for NHS, students must have an accumulated grade point average of at least 3.4, have documented service hours, and exhibit the qualities of character, service, and leadership.  Eligible students must complete an application, and then an advisory board of teachers determines acceptance into the organization.
