Serving as the Superintendent of Oberlin USD 294 is an honor and privilege. Oberlin Public Schools have a long history of educational success. This is reflected in the past graduates, current test scores, and the historical value that is put on education in our community and school.

USD 294 has a strong curriculum that is supported by research and data. The staff and the administration at USD 294 are a very dedicated staff who is always working together for the success of all students. Student achievement for all children is the primary focus at USD 294.

Dr. Cullen addresses the junior/senior high school students on the first day of school.

Parents are the child’s best teacher. In order to serve our students, we have to have a strong partnership and a healthy relationship with all parents. We have to be connected to parents, be inviting to all people, and always be striving for excellence. If school personnel, students, and parents are working together for quality education, great things will happen.

The USD 294 School Board is committed to the long-term success of the district. They will do whatever is possible to move forward as a school district and maintain the reputation and the integrity of USD 294. All of these quality indicators of student success are currently in place at USD 294, and that is going to remain to be our focus as we strive to provide our students with the best education possible for the success of students and our Nation.
