Biographical Information

I am very excited to enter my fourth year of teaching. I was raised on a farm west of Oberlin. Growing up, I attended OES (very happy to be working here now!) and DCHS. After high school, I went to college at Fort Hays State University. I graduated in 2008 with my BS in Elementary Education. My first teaching job was in Ellis, Kansas where I spent two years teaching first grade, and coaching Jr. High volleyball and track. I am happy to be in Oberlin serving in a wonderful school district! My husband, Nick, is a farmer in the Jennings area. We have a wonderful son, Trenton, who was born on March 2, 2011. He is a joy to our lives! Outside of school I enjoy playing with Trenton, spending time with family, riding horses, and running!
