This basketball season, D-Club and the Student Council have come together to raise funds for a family in Oberlin going through a medical hardship.

The groups have sold tickets at every home basketball game to win a chance at shooting a half-court shot and winning cash. Tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5.  If the shot is made, the contestant wins half of the pot and the rest goes to the family. If the contestant misses, all the money goes to the family.

You only have two more opportunities to support the fundraiser, February 8 and 12 at the last two home basketball games. You can find group members set up selling tickets between the two pass-gates by the cafeteria.

If your ticket is drawn and you do not want to attempt the shots, you may select someone else to do it for you.
