Coach Breth's Comments: The game got off to a good start with a designed play for a layup on the opening tip. Dighton did a good job slowing Tyler down. Gage and Koen did a good job knocking down mid-range shots. I am happy to be advancing in the tourney.
A TEAM Semi-Finals vs. St. Francis
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Final | |
Oberlin | 6 | 9 | 8 | 5 | 28 |
St. Francis | 9 | 4 | 4 | 18 | 35 |

Koen Oien | 6 |
Conner Holladay | 2 |
Caden Shaw | 3 |
Tyler Ostmeyer | 7 |
TOTAL | 28 |
Coach Breth's Comments: I am impressed with the number of players in our league that can shoot the 3. St. Francis had two that really hurt us in the 4th quarter when the game got away from us. Give credit to St. Francis. On this day, they were the better team.
A TEAM Consolation Finals vs. Wallace County
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Final | |
Oberlin | 8 | 11 | 12 | 17 | 48 |
Wallace County | 10 | 13 | 9 | 7 | 39 |
Scoring | Points |
Gage Williby | 4 |
Koen Oien | 4 |
Conner Holladay | 2 |
Caden Shaw | 2 |
Tyler Ostmeyer | 36 |
TOTAL | 48 |
Coach Breth's Comments: The first half was a repeat of the first time we played them. We struggled with their man-to-man full-court pressure. But once we settled down, we got the ball to Tyler, and they had no answer to stop him. The second half was so much better, and we let Tyler go to work. The guys did a great job of feeding him the ball. It was nice to avenge an earlier loss to them in the regular season.
*** 3rd Place! Final Overall record: 8 and 3

B TEAM First Round vs. St. Francis
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Final | |
Oberlin | 4 | 3 | 8 | 9 | 24 |
Wallace County | 2 | 2 | 6 | 3 | 13 |
Scoring | Points |
Kaden Sowers | 8 |
Theo Butterfield | 2 |
Sage Bryan | 14 |
TOTAL | 24 |
Coach Breth's Comments: We forced St. Francis to turn the ball over a lot. Our horrible shooting kept the game close for quite a while. From the free throw line, we were only 4 of 15.
B TEAM Semi-Finals vs. Wallace County
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Final | |
Oberlin | 16 | 15 | 7 | 2 | 40 |
Wallace County | 4 | 9 | 2 | 14 | 29 |
Scoring | Points |
RJ Mathews | 9 |
Kaden Sowers | 6 |
Cowen Anderson | 2 |
Sage Bryan | 7 |
Conner Kier | 16 |
TOTAL | 40 |
Coach Breth's Comments: Coach Ream pressed virtually the entire game in that small gym. We jumped on them early, and Conner started off very hot. He scored 14 of 16 points in the first half. Our pressure caused many turnovers.
B TEAM Finals vs. Rawlins County - CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | Final | |
Oberlin | 11 | 10 | 6 | 12 | 39 |
Rawlins County | 3 | 2 | 6 | 4 | 15 |
Scoring | Points |
RJ Mathews | 2 |
Kaden Sowers | 6 |
Theo Butterfield | 15 |
Sage Bryan | 7 |
Conner Kier | 9 |
TOTAL | 39 |
Coach Breth's Comments: Once again, Coach Ream pressed the majority of the game. This really frustrated Rawlins County, causing many turnovers. This time it was Theo who had a great first half. He scored 11 of 15 in the first.half. But it was a team effort. Kaden and Sage made it very difficult for the opposing teams all day with their pressure and pressing. I would like to thank everryone who supported us tths year, especially the group who showed up in St. Francis on Saturday to cheer us on.
