Spencer places 4th, Rayne wins 4 golds!

Rayne beat Heather Schemper of Phillipsburg by a nose in the 800m: 2:27.03 vs. 2:27.06, which was also a personal best for Heather.

May 4 was a good, beautiful day for golf and track.

Spencer Wishon finished in 4th place at the Gothenburg Golf Invitational. He shot a 77.

At the Oberlin Invitational Track Meet, freshman Rayne Erickson added four more gold medals to her collection. She placed first in the 200m, 400m, 800m, and high jump. In the 200m dash, she ran a 27.77, in the 400m - 58.51, which is her fastest yet; and in the 800m - 2:27.03, which is also a personal best. In high jump, she cleared 5'2.

Junior Tod Mastin also had a good day for the Red Devils. He placed third in high jump with his personal best jump of 5'6. He also had a personal best in triple jump with 35'1" and placed fifth. He placed fifth also in the 100m at 12:05.

Gabbie Vontz placed 3rd in the 100m hurdles. Her time was 18:65. Brynna Addleman was 4th in shot put with a throw 32'8.5". Logan Koger placed 6th in shot with a personal best throw of 39'8.5".

Sophomore Avery Witt also had a personal best. She placed 4th in javelin with a throw of 100'7". Kamryn Oien placed 6th in the 1600m at 6:40.75.

Jacie Fortin placed in two events. She was 5th in long jump and in triple jump. Her jumps were 14'6.5" and 30'.75 inches.
