The DCHS Journalism Department is spotlighting the DCHS Class of 2023 – one senior at a time. Today’s spotlight is on Ellie Anderson.
Ellie Anderson is the daughter of Kurt Anderson and Amanda Jones. Her siblings are Emma Anderson and Erin Jones.
Ellie enjoys reading, watching TV, and baking in her free time. Her favorite activity at DCHS has been participating in Singers, and she said she will miss the teachers here the most. She would especially like to thank Mr. Bricker and Mrs. Breth for helping her throughout high school.
Ellie’s advice to underclassmen is to “get your homework done.” Ellie’s honors and achievements include being on the honor roll, a member of the DCHS Singers, a Halloween Clean-Up captain, and a homecoming candidate. She has been in volleyball, track, chem/physics club, drama club, D-Club, vocal, and a class officer.
Ellie plans to attend Fort Hays State University and major in biology education.
