Oberlin wrestlers came home with six medals from the JR Durham Tournament, including four first-place medals – two varsity and two JV.
Josh Juenemann and Lukas Zodrow won their weight divisions at the varsity tournament. Josh pinned all three of his opponents and remains unbeaten, and Lukas moves to 14-2. Reid Fort and Kyra Sowers placed fourth.
At the JV Scramble, freshmen Theo Butterfield and Conner Holladay both placed first. The two had a total of six pins – three each.
The DCHS wrestlers host Phillipsburg and McCook on Thursday, with wrestling starting at 5:00. Saturday is the annual Buzz Matson Invitational, which starts at 9:30.
