Congratulations to our FFA Chapter!
So far this year our Oberlin FFA students have placed second in Dodgeball, third in Greenhand Land Judging, and fifth in Senior Land Judging. A third place in Senior Land Judging would have qualified them for state, so it was very close.
•Greenhand Land Judging Team: Theo Butterfield, Valentina Rodriguez, Mason Tally, and Cord Nichols.
•Senior Land Judging Team: Theo Butterfield, Caden Shaw, Cowen Anderson, and Sophia Davis. (This is a team of one sophomore, one freshman, and two 8th graders going up against juniors and seniors!)
•Dodgeball Team: Cord Nichols, Jordon Ruzicka, Arlan Coats, and Kyle Strohm.
Congratulations to all that are growing this chapter.
Update:
It was a Great Day for our Running Red Devils!

Trevor Witt placed 2nd in the 7th grade boys’ race.
Junior Shakira Cook ran her career personal best today!
Congratulations, Red Devils!

I am continually blessed to be surrounded by such great kids. Thank you, DCHS Students, for a fun dance! We had the biggest crowd we've had in a long time. We also had several out-of-town guests who represented themselves, their schools, and their families so very well. Though the outcome of the game wasn't what we wanted, we still had a great week and a fun dance. Stay tuned for lots more pictures of Homecoming 2022. -- Mrs. Breth

Congratulations to the 2022 Homecoming Queen and King - Breyana Gehring and Gavin Seller.

It was a Great Day for the Red Devils!
Jr. High Football beat Wallace County 14-12.
Jr. High Volleyball A and B Teams beat Wallace County (and the C Team showed great improvement in just a week).

These four girls have been hitting the payment selling ads for the 2023 yearbook. Yesterday we were in McCook, and today they will be back at it in Oberlin. We know businesses can do much more with their advertising dollars, but your donation helps keep yearbook prices down for students. The yearbook is for ALL students - not just athletes, musicians, or scholars, but for everyone!
THANK YOU to all of the Oberlin businesses who support our DCHS students. We appreciate you.
If Kamryn, Breyana, Addie, and Gabbie haven't been to see you yet, they will be by soon!
